https://provisio-id.com/provisioconsulting DGT Answers 22 Issues of Coretax Constraints, In an official publication that can be accessed on the website Pajak.go.id, the Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) answered 22 issues that arose after the implementation of the Coretax system. The system, which is expected to improve taxation services in Indonesia, had faced various technical problems that affected taxpayers’ convenience. With this issue resolution response, tax services through Coretax are expected to run optimally gradually. The following is an explanation of each issue and its resolution steps.

Constraints on Authorisation Codes and Electronic Certificates

One of the problems identified is the failure of the face validation process, name errors on printed electronic certificates, and menus that do not appear for certificate creation. DGT advises taxpayers to ensure that the photo on the e-KTP matches the facial appearance during the validation process, for example not wearing glasses if the photo on the KTP does not have glasses.

NPWP Registration for Foreigners

DGT found obstacles in NPWP registration for foreign nationals (foreigners), especially Chinese passport holders, as well as in the appointment of foreigners as responsible persons. After improvements were made, now foreigners holding Chinese passports can register for NPWP, and foreigners can be appointed as responsible persons.

Taxable Entrepreneur Status (PKP)

Some taxpayers reported differences in PKP status in the old system (SIDJP) and DGT’s Coretax. DGT provides an opportunity for taxpayers to validate their data through Kring Pajak 1500200 or the helpdesk. A commitment to resolve similar cases within one working day has been implemented.
